Learning Support Specialists
The Consortium also has many academic staff who are experts and experienced in various fields at the higher education level who can provide support to undergraduate and postgraduate students in thesis writing, carrying out educational methodology and writing high quality assignments to enhance academic performance and enable timely completion of studies.
Academic Advisors
- Provide guidance on course selection, academic planning, and career paths.
- Assist students with academic difficulties, such as time management and stress management.
- Monitor student progress and intervene when necessary.
- Refer students to appropriate resources, such as counseling or tutoring services.
Counseling and Mental Health Professionals
- Provide counseling and therapy services to students experiencing personal, social, or emotional difficulties.
- Offer crisis intervention and support.
- Conduct workshops on topics such as stress management, time management, and relationship building.
- Refer students to additional resources, such as psychiatrists or medical doctors.
Writing Center Tutors
- Provide one-on-one tutoring and workshops on writing skills, such as grammar, punctuation, and organization.
- Help students develop critical thinking and research skills.
- Review and provide feedback on student writing assignments.
Academic Coaches and Mentors
Provide support and guidance to new students as well as work with athletes to balance academic and athletic commitments.
